Hello and welcome to the BPM+ Health e-Workshop! We will begin on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 with a Community Update led by Ken Rubin, Community Convener, and co-chairs of BPM+ Health Working Groups. This is followed by working sessions over Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday organized by Working Group. Would you like to review what each group is working on? Below the table of agenda items is a list of activities and objectives by Working Groups.

What is Each Group Working On?
BPM+ Health and COVID-19 Use Cases - In recognition of the urgency of the COVID-19 Pandemic, we have been doing some community brainstorming, led by a small “Tiger Team” of clinical stakeholders, to identify areas of need that intersect with community capabilities. A short list of recommendations follows, presented for discussion among the BPM+ Health Working Groups this week. Access list of COVID-19 use cases under consideration.
Authoring Working Group
- Develop an action plan to document lessons learned from all authoring efforts, including best practices, methods, and compliance to standards
- Capture all authoring initiatives planned by BPM+ Health members
- Develop a "checklist" and/or written description of use case development requirements for BPM+ Health
- Develop short list of potential pathways to develop
- Begin work on a Step-by-Step Guide for professional organizations to author clinical pathways
Implementer Working Group
- Review model implementation efforts and approaches to date
- Document what works, lessons learned
- Refine the requirements (e.g., metadata) placed on a model to make it operational
- Define the operationalization process (conceptual) as a ref architecture for the community
- Identify exemplars of this process and recognize them as reference implementations
Methodology Working Group
- Review version 2.0 of the Field Guide to Shareable Clinical Pathways
- Discuss next steps for the Field Guide, including the capture and model effect of clinical guidelines or actions
- Review new notation standards under development
Institutional Adoption Working Group
- Review of other BPM+ Health work groups and how they should intersect/interface with the adoption work
- Review the Capability Maturity Model (CMM) for BPM+ adoption that is nearing publication
- Discuss the need and approach to develop a playbook/implementation user guide to accompany the CMM
Academic and Professional Education Working Group
- Introduce this new Working Group to BPM+ Health members and participants
- Discuss its proposed charter, proposed deliverables, and how the group may interface with other Working Groups
- Discuss meeting cadence going forward
