BPM+ Health is proud to officially announce that our first face-to-face meeting will be the BPM+ Health December Workshop, to be held at the Hyatt Regency Long Beach, December 6-8. This special event is open to members and non-members interested in learning more about the process of authoring and adopting shareable, standards-based clinical pathways in healthcare.

Finally, you can begin sharing ideas and collaborating in person with our member community! We are filling up the 2 1/2-day agenda with Keynotes, Working Group meetings/breakouts, and Member Presentations!

Our program will be held in parallel with the quarterly events of our sister consortia: Object Management Group, Industry IoT Consortium, AREA, and Digital Twin Consortium. Keynote: Accelerating Learning Health Systems
Ben Hamlin, MPH, Senior Research Informaticist in the Quality Measurement and Research Group (QMRG), NCQA

The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) has set the standard for the healthcare quality and accreditation of critical healthcare organizations since 1990.  Today, over 200 million people are enrolled in health plans that report NCQA HEDIS quality measures. The core of NCQA's digital quality strategy is making digital quality measures (dQMs) the backbone of an efficient learning health system in which clinical guidelines and quality measurement seamlessly intersect.

NCQA and BPM+ Health will shortly announce a new collaboration to explore the use of BPM+ notations to positively impact healthcare orchestration, choreography, and dQM expression and amplify the impact of high priority HEDIS dQMs. The intent of this collaboration is to abbreviate the nearly 17-year time frame for new clinical evidence to be broadly adopted as healthcare best-practices. NCQA's digital strategy looks to integrate multiple open standards and advanced technologies to create a fully-functional and interoperable digital quality ecosystem that supports continuous learning and improvement. As part of this strategy, NCQA along with BPM+ Health healthcare provider members and other allied organizations intend to announce a new collaborative addressing the healthcare knowledge-to-wisdom translation problem.
